Evangelization and pastoral care
With the enthusiasm of Saint Dominic’s preaching the word of God, the sisters devoted themselves to the work of evangelization. In the early days, the sisters rode bicycles to serve in the nearby parish.
Our congregation attaches great importance to the professional cultivation of talents in the area of evangelization, and has the opportunity to send sisters to study in the evangelization group as much as possible. The older sisters pray the Rosary every day in the congregation, pray for the evangelization work, and participate in the mission of the congregation. Young sisters devoted themselves to parish service, preaching the gospel for catechumens and Vietnamese immigrants. Although the evangelization work in Taiwan is not simple, but the sisters are willing to work with God. As long as they have an invitation, they will answer enthusiastically and cherish the opportunity to do evangelization. God often blesses the sisters' evangelization work.
Apart from direct evangelization, the sisters alsoparticipate in the annual camps for children and youth held by the diocese to interact with youngsters. As for the parish, in addition to weekend pastoral and Sunday school courses, we also assist in the arrangement of parish celebrations, visit the church members, accompany the priest to distribute the Eucharist to the patients, and lead secular groups. The sisters also help the foreign spouses in need, providing pastoral care such as translation; spiritual counseling; and accompany the new comers to adapt to the new environment
