Medical care:

Illness is one of the most painful things for human beings. It is the teaching of Jesus to relieve the discomfort; comfort the fear; and anxiety of patients and their families. Sixty years ago, Dounan Town was in a remote township and lacked medical care. There was no hospital in the town. Although the sisters were very difficult in terms of human and financial resources, they still hold the mission of God's love and founded Fu'an Hospital in 1963 to provide medical care to residents in neighboring villages of Dounan Town.
In the early days of the establishment of the hospital, in addition to caring for the patients, the sisters also took care of X-rays, dispense medicines, and registration of appointments. The main job of the sisters now is to provide pastoral care in the hospital, accompanying the sick and caring employees, making the hospital a place to provide physical, mental, and spiritual care. Although the sisters did not directly provide medical care, but when the patient came to the hospital, the sister's companionship and care allowed the patient to experience love and warmth, as well as God'sblessing.

Besides the services at Fu'an Hospital, the sisters also serve pastoral services in St. Joseph's Hospital. The main job is to accompany patients, care for employees, and arrange activities for the elderly in community day care. The sisters also provide translation services for foreign employees- Vietnamese, when they come to the hospital, there are sisters to help them deal with medical problems, soothe their emotional struggles, provide care and support
